Burglary of a building

On Thursday, Jan. 19 deputy was dispatched to a post office located in Markham to the scene of two mail boxes located inside the building. Upon arrival deputy met with complainant who stated that someone pried open two mailboxes who were not assign to anyone, and did not have mail on them. Complainant advised deputy that she left the post office on Wednesday, Jan. 18 and the boxes were not damaged. The estimated damage for the locks is at $15 each.

Criminal Mischief

On Friday, Jan. 20 deputy was dispatched to Van Vleck high school gym parking lot in reference to a criminal mischief. Upon arrival the complainant stated she attended the basketball game and parked her vehicle in front of the gym directly across from the entry doors but across the street in the grass facing east. She stated when she returned to her vehicle she realized the passenger door glass was broken, she stated she left her purse lying in the passenger seat and she assumed the actor was trying to steal her purse.

Burglary of a vehicle

On Friday, Jan. 20 deputy was dispatched to Van Vleck high school gym parking lot in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. Upon arrival deputy met with victim who stated her was parked in a parking space along the road way in front of they gym she stated she was attending a basketball game. When she returned to her car, she realized the driver’s door glass had been broken out and lying on the ground beside the car. She estimates the damage will cost approximately $250 to repair. She said she left her purse under the seat, but was not missing. She stated her purse was a Coach brand purse and a matching wallet, she said the value of items is approximately $500. She stated she had $40 in cash, a debit card and her checkbook and miscellaneous items.

Past theft

On Saturday, Jan. 21 deputy was dispatched to Blessing in reference to a past theft. Upon arrival deputy arrive to the oil field where he met with complainant who stated equipment had been tampered with. He said he noticed two solar panels and the total flow meter had been stolen from the location. He stated it would cost them approximately $3,000 to replace the equipment. He stated the street value of equipment is little to none due to the fact it is used only to monitor the amount of gas being sold. He stated the suspect must of climbed over the locked gate due to the face when he arrived the gate was still locked.
